Kickoff your Fourth of July weekend with the 52nd annual Crown City Classic 12K & 5K along the stunning Coronado Bay!
Join us on July 4, 2025 and choose between the 12K (7.4 miles) or 5K (3.1 miles) courses, and don’t forget the Kids Half Mile—open to racers 12 and under—will return to inspire the next generation of runners!
All courses start and finish in Tidelands Park, treating participants to views of the Coronado Bridge as they make their way along Glorietta Boulevard.

12K
This 7.4-mile route is a flat, fast course that showcases Coronado’s stunning coastal beauty. Stretching along Glorietta Boulevard and past the Navy Amphibious Base, it turns around near the Silver Strand Nature’s Bridge to Discovery, offering picturesque views every step of the journey.
5K
This 3.1-mile route offers a more relaxed option, perfect for walkers or those looking to take it easy on the 4th of July. It covers the same beautiful Coronado scenery, ensuring you still enjoy the coastal charm as you celebrate the holiday.
Kids Half Mile
Let your little runners shine at the Kids Half-Mile! Starting and finishing in Tidelands Park, this fun-filled race follows an S-shaped route through the park, giving kids the perfect chance to show off their speed and patriotism!
